Prescottonians love their outdoors and this affection shows in their parks. While visiting, be sure to save at least one lazy afternoon to enjoy a picnic lunch and a toss of the Frisbee at one of the Prescott town parks.

Where can I find/enjoy nearby town parks?

A.C. Williams Granite Creek Park
With over 20 acres of area, barbeque grills, a sand volleyball court and horseshoe pits, round up the family, hop in the car and get down here for some fun! 

  • Location: 554 N. 6th Street 
  • Season/Hours: 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Memorial Day through Labor Day)
    8:00 AM – Sunset (Winter) 
  • Services: Large armadas, restrooms, barbeque grills, picnic areas, ½ mile walking trail.

Acker Park
Located in beautiful downtown Prescott, this park is ideal for walk-in traffic after your early afternoon stroll around Prescott’s Square. 

  • Location: 421 S. Virginia 
  • Season/Hours: 5:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Memorial Day through Labor Day)
    7:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Winter) 
  • Services: 1-mile loop trail, picnic area, restrooms, mosaic art walls.

Jim McCasland Willow Creek Park
Grab the dog, the baseball and the glove and head down to Jim McCasland Willow Creek Park. 

  • Location: 3181 Willow Creek Road 
  • Season/Hours: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Year-round) 
  • Services: Restrooms, playground, dog park, open access to athletic fields, as well as access to the Willow Lake Trail.

Willow Creek Dog Park
There’s even a park made especially for Spot here in Prescott! But be sure to review the rules before entering the park – among other things, dogs must be over four-months old, must be wearing license tags and have had their shots. 

  • Location: 3181 Willow Creek Road 
  • Season/Hours: 5:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Memorial Day through Labor Day)
    7:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Winter) 
  • Services: Shaded armadas with picnic benches, separate area reserved for smaller dogs, assorted agility equipment and drinking fountains.

Mike Fann Community Skate Park
Are the kids tired of visiting the boutique shops with you? Hope they brought their skateboards! 

  • Location: 702 E. Gurley Street 
  • Season/Hours: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Year-round) 
  • Services: The Mike Fann Community Skate Park is a 20,000 square foot "Street-Plaza" style skate park with banks, curbs, a multitude of ledges and gaps, two large bowls and tree-shaded bleachers on the sidelines.
